Black and white photography removes any distraction of color and helps the viewer focus on other aspects of the photo, such as the subject, the textures, shapes, patterns and composition.
Black and White photography is actually my favorite style of photography. In my opinion, it just gives a classic feel to almost any image, which is why I usually edit most of my photos with a black and white option as well.
